The Center for Educational Program Development designs and manages the core curriculum with the aim of cultivating students who can think critically and create new values.

About

The Center for Educational Program Development is designed to provide students with a liberal arts education that develops critical thinking and the ability to think deeply about values. The Center aims to create new paradigms for undergraduate education, where students identify and solve problems, learn to understand the perspectives of others, and apply what they learned to serve their community.

Programs

Planning and Managing the Core Curriculum
The Center develops and manages the core curriculum courses of the University – Foundations, Claves, Veritas, and Explorations – as well as the development of new courses.

Planning and Managing of the Graduate School Core Curriculum
The Center manages graduate-level core courses such as “Understanding Research Ethics,” “English Academic Writing: Humanities and Social Sciences/Science and Engineering,” and “Research Methods and Statistics” while developing new courses.
