The Academic Advising Center assists students in planning and designing their academic paths across disciplines, including double majors, interdisciplinary majors, and self-designed majors.
About
To cultivate the development of creative, interdisciplinary talent required in today’s world, Seoul National University has worked to lower barriers between academic departments and promote its multi-major system. The Academic Advising Center was established in August 2022 to contribute to this effort and to systematically support students in their major selection and academic planning.
The Center offers academic advising to help students make the most of their interests and skills, enabling them to have a fulfilling college experience as well as a successful professional career after graduation.
Through one-on-one, personalized guidance from faculty academic advisors who specialize in academic advising, the Center offers students insights based on their interests and academic abilities and helps them plan a curriculum planning across disciplines and as they consider various educational pathways.
The Center aims to help students define their career paths, develop structured academic plans to reach their goals, and actively engage in a meaningful and self-directed university experience.
