베리타스 강좌 1: 학습으로 본 ‘나’와 공동체

Veritas Lecture 1: Myself and Community in Learning

과거의 경험과 다양한 정보로부터 새로운 지식을 학습하는 능력은 개인의 성장과 사회의 발전을 위해 반드시 필요하다. 본 교과목의 목적은 심리학, 뇌과학, 교육학, 언어사회학 등의 지식에 기반하여 학습에 대한 간학문적 이해와 창의적 사고를 촉진하고 인공지능 시대에 필요한 학습 혁신을 논의하는 데 있다. 학생들은 기존에 당연하게 생각했던 학습 활동을 비판적으로 성찰하고 과학적 이론과 다양한 관점에서 학습의 문제를 창의적으로 해결한다. 또한 학습의 이해, 인지활동, 학습정서, 학습자, 학습혁신과 관련된 실제적인 문제를 두뇌, 개인, 공동체 측면에서 다각도로 논의한다. 이런 활동을 통해 학문 간 경계를 넘어서 학습을 융합적으로 이해할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 자기주도적으로 학습을 계획하고 소외된 학습자를 위한 지식인의 사회적 책무를 이해하고 협력적으로 실천할 수 있는 역량을 개발할 것이다.
