베리타스 실천: 평등의 물리학

Veritas Practice: Physics of Quantifying Equality

<베리타스 실천: 평등의 물리학은 ‘하나의 사과 = 하나의 사과’라는 기초적인 등식에서 출발해, 물리학이 ‘같음’과 ‘비교 가능성’을 어떻게 정의해 왔는지를 탐구하고 이를 사회적 평등의 문제에 적용하는 융합 교과목이다. 측정과 표준, 에너지와 정보, 보존 법칙과 엔트로피 같은 물리학의 개념을 토대로 학생들은 각 주제에 대한 프로젝트 기반 탐구를 진행한다.
본 과목은 강의와 실천(PBL)을 병행하며, 과학적 사고를 현실의 윤리적 판단과 연결하는 새로운 시도를 제안한다. 물리학 전공 여부와 무관하게 참여 가능하도록 설계되었으며, 학생들은 팀 프로젝트와 동료 평가를 통해 ‘무엇이 공정한 비교인가’를 스스로 정의하고 검증하는 과정을 경험한다.
본 교과목은 영어로 진행됩니다.
