SNU College offers a Korean Language Program for international students, from beginner to intermediate & advanced levels.

Let’s learn Korean at the SNU Language Education Institute(LEI), experience Korean culture, and take a field trip with your friends during the fall semester.

 

In addition, SNU College will support all expenses for Korean language classes, cultural experiences, and field trips.

* Eligibility: international undergraduate students admitted in 2025 

(including Korean heritage students)
* Priority will be given to 2025 freshmen. Current students may be selected if vacancies remain. 

 

* Course Duration: Sep. 8th ~ Nov. 29th, 2025 (12 Weeks)

 

* Course Description:

1) 9 hours a week (Mon/Wed/Thu 18:00~21:00)

2) Korean class: beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels

3) Culture experiences: calligraphy, stamp carving, taekwondo, cooking classes, etc.

 

* Special activities:

1) SNU Buddies, who are SNU undergraduate students, will help you study Korean and live in Korea

2) SNU library tour with TAs

3) You can participate in a two-day long field trip if you complete the Korean language class (attendance & grade 60% or higher)
